I See You. I Am You. We Are One

48 x 48 x 2 in. 15 lbs.

Plaster, gold and champagne potal leaf, lazy potal resin technique, Museum Black pigment . 2025

Two souls inside a luminous moon.

They have seen each other through everything. The silly years and the hard ones. The phone calls at 2am when a child had a fever. Close or far, the friendship stood strong. The growing older together, the moments of being truly, completely known by another person.

And now, after all of it - they are here. Seeing each other. The real one.

I see you - not the version you show the world, but you. I am you - we share something so deep it goes beyond words, beyond time. We are one - together against the world, always.

This piece is for that bond. Two lovers. Two lifelong friends. Two sisters. Two souls who chose each other and kept choosing, year after year.

Built strand by strand using the lazy potal technique - sculpted in plaster, layered in resin, covered in gold and champagne leaf, sealed again. The hair moves. The background is Museum Black - zero light reflection. The gold figures stand strong in the black velvet of life.

You see her. She sees you. That is everything.
