She does not see what we see.

On the left - a burst of everything she is. Dozens of flowers in every color, each one sculpted by hand, projecting off the surface, layered and alive. Bold makeup she is still figuring out how to wear. Ribbons and dreams and hopes and worries all blooming at once. This is her as the world sees her - extraordinary, overflowing, unforgettable.

On the right - gray. Simple. Quiet snowflake patterns, almost invisible. This is how she sees herself on the inside. The insecurities. The not-sure-yet. The part of her that is still becoming.

She is young. She is finding out who she is. She does not know yet that the flowers are real.

This piece is for her. A reminder of how beautiful and smart, strong and dainty she is in her emerging youth.
