Wisdom & Power

96 x 24 x 5-7 in . Plaster, acrylic, gold leaf, rhinestones, resin . 2025

Two pythons, coiling together, inseparable - rising five to seven inches off a golden surface. Eight feet of presence.

The black one carries gold - ancient ceremonial medallions hand-patterned across its body, no stencil, no template. The red one burns - each scale individually formed, rhinestones running along its edges like embers.

This piece is about what happens when the two great forces find each other. Power without wisdom is dangerous - it burns through everything in its path. Wisdom without power has no force to act on what it knows.

Together, they become something unshakable.

They rest in golden light, heavy and still - the way real power rests. Quiet until it needs to move.

This piece belongs in a room that can hold it. A man cave. A club. A private office where serious decisions get made.

Its counterpart is yet to be made. This is only half the story.
